Quality, Safety & Environment in one management system

ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001, running alongside everything else you manage

de.iterate is an Australian GRC platform for quality, safety and environment (QSE) management systems. Switch on ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 as modules in de.iterate, and run them with ISO 27001 and your other standards in one integrated management system (IMS). Controls are mapped across standards, so a single internal audit can cover several at once.

Instead of managing policies in one place, risks in another, evidence in folders, and audits through a last-minute scramble, de.iterate connects the whole system. That means better visibility, clearer ownership, stronger assurance and less time lost to manual admin. The current platform spans policies, assurance tasks, registers, evidence, reporting, Trust Centre capabilities, auditor access and support for multiple frameworks.

We help you get your ducks in a row.

One manager, four standards

Quality, safety and environment are already integrated, in the sense that one person runs all three. The HSEQ manager holds the integrated manual, a corrective action log in Excel that covers every standard, and a mapping of which clause of ISO 9001 lines up with which clause of ISO 45001 that nobody else has read. The certification body audits it as one system. The system is one person, a laptop and a very long document.

Larger organisations have an integrated management system at group level and a different version of it at every site. Head office owns the manual; each site has its own HSEQ coordinator, its own incident log and its own way of recording a corrective action. Safety reports to operations, quality reports to the plant manager, and environment reports to whoever holds the licence. The group management review consolidates twelve sites by spreadsheet, twice a year, and the external auditor samples three of them.

Everyone is doing the same work several times over, and most of them don’t know it.

How de.iterate handles quality, safety and environment

An integrated management system should be integrated in the software as well as in the HSEQ manager’s head. de.iterate runs quality, safety and environment on one set of controls, so shared requirements are met once, audits and corrective actions sit in one program, incidents go into one register, and the management review draws on all of it without a consolidating spreadsheet. The mapping between standards stops being something one person knows and becomes something de.iterate does.

Switch on the standards you need

Enable ISO 9001 for your quality management system (QMS), ISO 14001 for your environmental management system (EMS) and ISO 45001 for work health and safety (WHS). Each comes with the complete set of templates needed to achieve and maintain certification.

controls-management

Meet shared requirements once

The de.iterate fabric connects controls across quality, safety, environment and ISO 27001. As a result, the requirements that the standards have in common, such as document control and competency, only need to be met and evidenced once.

plan-annual-audit

One audit program for every standard

Plan and run every audit for multiple standards concurrently in de.iterate's Audit Centre. Record nonconformities, assign corrective actions to owners and track each one through to closure.

record-incidents

Record incidents while they're fresh

Log Workplace Health and Safety (WHS) and environmental incidents and near misses directly in de.iterate's Incident Register, with actions and follow-up in one auditable place.

multi-site-system

Run every site in the same system

Give each site its own incident log, corrective actions and local records inside de.iterate's group management system. Site HSEQ coordinators work in their own view, and head office sees every site without asking anyone to send a spreadsheet.

reporting

Walk into management review with the numbers ready

de.iterate's dashboards pull open nonconformities, incident trends, overdue actions and audit status across every standard and site. The management review runs from live data, and minutes and decisions recorded for the next audit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most questions about quality, safety and environment come down to integration: whether one audit can cover several standards, whether you have to run all three, and whether the system you already have can come across. The answers below cover the detail, including what stays with your certification body.

Can we run one internal audit across several standards?

Yes. Because de.iterate maps controls across standards, one internal audit can cover shared requirements for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001 at once. Our blog post One Internal Audit, Four Standards explains how.

We already have ISO 9001 in another system. Can we move it across?

Yes. de.iterate's Management System Migration Tool and onboarding team can bring across your existing policies, registers and supporting documents, so you keep the work you've already done.

What is an integrated management system?

An integrated management system (IMS) combines several management system standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 27001, into one set of policies, processes and controls. Shared requirements are met once, and audits and reviews can cover several standards together.

Do we have to use all three standards?

No. ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 are separate modules in de.iterate, so you switch on only the ones you need.

Does de.iterate include templates for ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001?

Yes. In de.iterate, each standard comes with the complete set of templates needed to achieve and maintain certification.

Can we record WHS incidents and near misses?

Yes. Log them in de.iterate's Incident Register, with actions and follow-up in one auditable place.

Does de.iterate perform our certification audit?

No. ISO 17021-1 requires certification bodies to stay impartial, so an accredited external certification body runs your audit. de.iterate gets you ready for it and supports you through it.
